Cookies and storage
Last updated 25 October 2026. Draft, to be reviewed.
Upkept Logbook uses only strictly necessary storage, so there is no cookie banner to accept.
- Sign-in session. A cookie that keeps you signed in. Without it the app cannot work.
- Offline queue. Checks you record without a connection are kept in your browser’s storage until they sync.
- App shell cache. The service worker keeps recent pages so the app opens without a connection.
- A one-line notice flag. Remembers that you have seen the storage notice.
Analytics run in cookieless mode (PostHog, EU): nothing is stored on your device for it and nothing follows you across sites. Error reporting (Sentry) stores nothing on your device either.
No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are used. If that ever changes we will ask for consent first, in the same way the upkept.uk site does.
